“I think the thing I love most about my bedroom is that it is MY space. It’s a sanctuary for me to escape and just be me.”

How’ve you been?

“I’ve been great (pandemic aside haha)”

Are you still in the same bedroom?

“No, I moved back home to Ireland in 2019 and have been in my new bedroom since”

Looking back at your bedroom in 2017, what has changed?

“I think my organisation and cleanliness haha. Over the years I’ve started to believe in the idea that a clear space equals a clear mind, so I don’t like having any mess/clutter in my bedroom.”

Can you paint a picture of what life was like back then?

“Life was exciting. I was young and dumb in a big city. Don’t get me wrong it wasn’t all amazing but I’ll always treasure my time in London and the lessons it taught me. Coming from somewhere like Belfast to London really opened my eyes to the with bigger world out there and made me eager to see as much of it as I possibly can.”

What do you love about your bedroom?

“I think the thing I love most about my bedroom is that it is MY space. It’s a sanctuary for me to escape and just be me.”

What does your bedroom mean to you?

“It means a lot more now than it did. Especially with everything going on in the world currently.”

How much time do you spend in the bedroom?

“A lot since lockdown haha.”

What’s the most recent addition to the bedroom?

“My shelves.”

What inspired you to decorate the room this way?

“Like I mentioned earlier I think a clear space equals a clear mind so I wanted to keep things as minimal as possible.”

If you could change anything about your bedroom what would it be?

“That it would be situated in California.”

In 4 years time where do you want to be?

“In four years time I want to be in a new bedroom. I have plans to move to Berlin to pursue opportunities in the creative industry out there. I have my goals written out and what I aim to achieve so now all it takes is putting them all in motion. Four years from now I want to be into the start of my long term career plans whilst just being content with life and all its highs and lows!”
